The reason for sale is that I can honestly say the G9 has got me back into photography in a big way so I have purchased a Canon DSLR to move on to the next level. I did think about buying a G10 but if you look at the review link I have provided and search for the G10 they basically say it is not much of an improvement and the G10 has 5* optical zoom so a step backwards! Furthermore, it does excellent video, a real stepup from my former IXUS range camera's.

The pictures shows the actual item for sale rather than some generic picture off the web.
