African Violet "Picasso" Picasso (6924) M. Tremblay: Double light blue and white/variable fantasy. Variegated medium green, plain/silver-green back. ____________________________________________________________________ I can't imagine any African Violet collection that doesn't include Picasso. Hands down, this plant has probably won more "Best In Show's" then any other variety in recent A.V. history. The foliage is beyond belief, it grows symmetrical and LARGE! The variegation is reliable and consistent and the nature of the plant is vigorous. The blossoms cover the plant in profusion and last a very long time. Picasso is one of the "Great Greats" of the African Violet world...and like "Tiger", "Tomahawk", and "Powwow".....Picasso will be with us A.V.'ers forever! Originally this plant was registered with A.V.S.A. as a fantasy blossom. Fantasy is rare on this variety, and I've only seen a few occasions where it was present. The plant's discription was later changed and the fantasy trait is now listed as variable...meaning that it may or may not be present...but either way it is acceptable for entry into show. If the plant never bloomed at all I think I would have to grow it just for it's wonerful foliage! Enjoy Picasso :-) ____________________________________________________________________________ Blue Mountain Violets I am a hobby/show grower living in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. I raise all of my plants from leaves and grow my plants for show perfection. I only have a limited number of plants at any given time and offer them here on ebay. Be assured that these plants are of the highest quality, sturdy and well rooted, robust plants. Plants are in 3 oz. solo cups ready for transplanting to larger pots (Sometimes in 3" pots). Most always budded or in bloom. I pack with great care and take every precaution to make sure that your plants arrive in perfect condition. Occasionally a broken leaf or spilled soil may happen. This is not major damage....but an opportunity to start more of this beautiful plant and to repot the baby into your own mix (which I highly recommend). Any severe damage will be replaced with a duplicate plant, or an agreed upon substitute in the event I do not have a duplicate of that variety. Buyer is responsible for all postage. Photo of damaged plant is asked for within 3 days of receipt. I only ship within the continental U.S. During extreme weather conditions in my area, or yours (or somewhere in between) I may have to delay shipping. Please know I will keep the lines of communication open until I feel it is safe to ship. This policy is to protect both you and myself. Because of the size of my plants and the extra packing I include to ship them to you safely I charge $8 for the first plant. Additional plants (up to 4 total per box) in increments of $1. After a total of 4 plants I must start a new box and the shipping begins at $8 again. PLEASE, wait for me to invoice you if you win multiple auctions before paying so I may adjust the postal charges! Plants are shipped when payment is received. I only accept paypal. Please do not bid if you are unable to pay via paypal. The plant in the photo with the ruler is the actual plant you are bidding on. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns. Thank you.....and good luck bidding ;-) David In Virginia
