From the " Dragon Ball Z " Anime Series
Plot Summary:
Bulma is a girl in search of the mystical dragonballs that when brought together grant any wish. In her search she bumps into the owner of one of these balls, a strange boy named Goku. The two then set off together, Bulma in search of the dragonballs and Goku on a quest to become stronger.
This simple plot has spawned over 153 half hour episodes and 13 full length movies from 1986 on.
The Dragonball Z series continues the adventures of Son Goku who, along with his companions, defend the Earth and other planets against various supervillains. While the original Dragon Ball anime followed Son Goku through childhood into adulthood, Dragon Ball Z parallels his adult life with the maturation of his first child, Son Gohan. The series also gives focus to the evolution of his rivals, Piccolo and Vegeta, from evil to good. The separation between the series is also significant as the later series takes on a more dramatic and serious tone, with a number of villains either threatening or committing acts of mass murder.
Goten is first introduced at the beginning of the Majin Buu Saga as the second son of Son Goku, the series' protagonist. Goten is soon trained by his older brother Son Gohan in preparation for the Tenkaichi Budokai, which Goten's father, Goku would be attending (Goku had died before Goten was born and was able to join the tournament due to being a good person while he was alive). During the training, Goten was revealed to be able to become a Super Saiyan a transformation that previously was thought to only be available to full blooded Saiyans. During the tournament, Goten easily breezes through the kids division of the Tenkaichi Budokai, until he is beaten by Trunks, Goten's best friend and the son of Vegeta.
Goten stands 9 cm tall. This figure is New in Box (NIB). Besides a bent upper right hand corner, the box is in good condition.
