As the market getting compatitive, most of the webcams in the market today are resorting to compromise in the components and chipset, which make it only compatible with the popular Windows system.

Utilizing ZC-0301P chipset, this webcam is not only works well with Windows systems (driver and software inclusive in the package), it also fully compatible with MAC OS X via MACAM driver (free downloadable at http://webcam-osx.sourceforge.net/), LINUX (via gspca driver which is inclusive in all LINUX distribution) and some other general applications, for example some of the USB base CCTV systems - it is also compatible with the ICAMVIEW and IPCAM CCTV servers.
