ITEM DESCRIPTION:

Details of this Tibetan vertical prayer flag are as follows:

Size                                     : 24”x74” (61cmx1.88m)

Weight                               : 122gm (4.3 ounce)

Colors of flag                  : Blue, White, Red, Green, Yellow

Material of garment    : Polyester

It measures 24inch (61cm) x 74inch (1.88m). It weighs 122gm (4.3 ounce). There is sewn a strong nylon thread along one of the vertical sides for tying it to a pole. There is also sewn another four nylon threads at four equal distances along this side for tying it to pole. This flag is made of five pieces of polyester garments of five different colors (Blue, White, Red, Green, Yellow that represent five pure lights). These fast colors will not discolor in rain. Five pieces of garments are sewn together in specific order of color. Tibetan auspicious mantras (in Tibetan script) and images specific to colors and their significance are printed on each of them. This prayer flag brings good luck and blessings in the surrounding where it is hung. Five colors of this prayer flag symbolizes five fundamental elements of the universe which are as follows:

Blue symbolizes sky/space which symbolizes Peace.

White symbolizes air/wind which symbolizes Success.

Red symbolizes fire which symbolizes Long Life.

Green symbolizes water which symbolizes Prosperity.

Yellow symbolizes earth which symbolizes Knowledge.
