DESCRIPTION.

Please find for sale a sterling silver cased, slim pocket watch with a fusee movement made by Edward Stow of Woodbridge, with subsidiary second dial.

SIZE (25.4mm to the inch )

The case measures 45mm in diameter.

The dial is 41mm in diameter.

The thickness is 13.5mm.

WEIGHT (31.1g to the troy ounce)

The weight is 73.1g. Gross.

CONDITION.

This is in fairly good condition with various stains, tarnish and surface scratches as shown. There are some scratches also on the crystal. The enamel dial also shows hairlines. The movement does not work, although the cock swings and runs for a few seconds. It is fully wound as I speak - I have wound it up so it works okay from that point of view.

HALLMARKS & MAKER.

The hallmarks are for London, 1848.

A good pocket watch that needs just light repair.
