DESCRIPTION.

Please find for sale an extremely rare Edwardian hallmarked sterling silver model of the cheshire cat from alice in wonderland.

This is fixed to a T-bar and chain which are later additions and also hallmarked.

SIZE (25.4mm to the inch )

The size of the cat is 25mm tall x 11mm wide.

WEIGHT (31.1g to the troy ounce)

The weight is 5.5g. Gross.

CONDITION.

This is in good condition with no undue wear, damage or repair.

HALLMARKS & MAKER.

The cat is hallmarked for Birmingham 1908.

The T-Bar is marked 1925, as mentioned this is a later addition.

The cat is made in two halves and aswell as being hallmarked on the back, the front section also bears the lion passant.

 

This is an extremely rare fob, I have never seen one before and is priced accordingly.
