History of MIL-24 HIND F HEAVY HELICOPTER GUNSHIP

The MI-24 is certainly one the most potent attack helicopter's of today. It subject to continuous improvements to face threats by possible enemy. Special care has been given to its armament. In this particular case the rotating small-caliber machine gun has been substituted by 30mm twin-gun in order to acheive greater fire power. This version of the Hind, quite different from D-version which has been exported to about 20 nations, is in service only with the Russian army, and some units are used in Germany's eastern parts.
