This auction is for a RETIRED, EXTREMELY RARE, 2000 Dave Longaberger Founder's Basket.  The COMPLETE SET includes the Basket, Protector (with Company label on it), WoodCrafts Woven Lid, a special Product Card that commemorates Dave's life and also contains a Certificate of Authenticity(original box not available).  The basket is featured in the Classic Stain and has a unique "Stairstep Weaving" design that Dave himself helped develop.  It also has two swinging handles and measures 15-L X 10-W X 7 1/2-H.  On the open-weaved bottom of this beautiful basket is a burned-in personal message from Dave's two daughters.  It reads, "To Dad with love" and both "Tami" and "Rachel's" signatures are also burned into the basket.  This very special basket was created to honor the life and skill of Dave Longaberger, founder and CEO of The Longaberger Company.  This 2000 Dave Longaberger Founder's Basket is in MINT condition and has never been used or displayed.  It has been lovingly stored in a smoke-free, pet-free environment since the moment it was purchased.  This basket is a must have and would make a great addition to your Longaberger collection!!!  Form #:  R01-18791
