Jim Palmer Baltimore Orioles Hall of Fame lapel pin
This MLB licensed double post and butterfly clip backed pin measures about 3-1/2" wide (with the doors open) and 1.2" tall at the hinges and is individually numbered out of 1990 on the back. The two doors, closed, show a likeness of Jim Palmer on the left, and the National Baseball Hall of Fame logo with "HOF 1990" on the right. Open the doors to reveal, on the left side, a "Palmer 22" gray jersey with "Orioles" on a banner across the bottom of the jersey, and "1st day in majors" across the top, and "April 17th 1965" across the bottom. On the right side is a "Palmer 22" white jersey with "Orioles" on a banner across the bottom of the jersey, and "Last day in majors" at the top, and "May 12th 1984" at the bottom. The center section has a full color picture of Palmer with the following information to the left - "2.86 CAREER ERA", "268 CAREER WINS", "2212 CAREER STRIKEOUTS", "211 COMPLETE GAMES", "53 CAREER SHUTOUTS" and "DIAMOND JIM". This pin has two posts and butterfly clips on back. The pin is better than shown.
New/mint condition the pin comes in a hard plastic display case. The display case does have scratches, and some heavy scuffs on it, from where the pin has hit the inside of the cover. NOTE You are bidding on ONE PIN only; the picture(s) show the pin in both open and closed positions.
