British Rail BR Diary 1968-1977 by Chris Heaps. Published by Ian Allen in 1988. Hardback.

This book gives a year by year account of significant events in the history of BR during this period. There are many black & white photographs of workings. There is also an appendix with information about BR's "obligations and constraints", Grants in 1969 under the 1968 Transport Act and some statistics about BR during this period. The book is in very good condition.

See other listings for the companion books covering 1948-1957 and 1978-1985. Was there ever a book for 1958-1967 because I have never seen it!!
