Ingredients for this new anti-aging skincare serum were formulated by career chemist Steve Barton from Nottingham, Northern England, well-known as the skin care man in the U.K.

After years of testing various compounds in his cramped laboratory, some British dermatologists have concluded that Bartons product, an over-the-counter anti-aging beauty serum called Boots No. 7 Protect and Perfect, visibly reduces fine lines.

The serum sold for US market distribution goes under the name of Boots No. 7 Restore and Renew and is sold in 30 ml (1 US Fluid Oz) bottles.

Why do Protect & Perfect and Restore & Renew have different names?

No. 7 Protect & Perfect is the UK name for the Beauty Serum. Restore & Renew was chosen as the international name for the Beauty Serum as feedback from overseas markets indicated that people were unsure how to pronounce the word perfect and a number of markets considered this word to be a medical rather than cosmetic claim.

What is the difference between Restore & Renew (US version) and Protect & Perfect (UK version)?
