Up for auction is this antique Antique Chinese Terra Cotta Teapot with hand applied decorations, spout and handles. There is a "chop" on the bottom of the teapot, the inside of the lid and on the handle of the teapot. This has a beautiful naturalistic design decorating the pot and the spout and handles in a dark brown color. The teapot measures: Approx 3 1/2" high with lid, 6 1/2" from spout to back of handle. Base 2 1/2' diam, lid 2 1/2" diam. There is a minute pin size chip on bottom of inside edge of lid, other than that this is in excellent condition no other damage. If anyone knows anything about the artist please let me know. Left it to collectors to decide where bidding should end. VP
