CV-66 AMERICA is third of the KITTY HAWK Class Aircraft Carrier, she was commissioned on 23 Jan,1965, and she joined the Vietnam War in 1970. She is 319.3m long, 39.6m wide, draught of 11.4m, the standard displacement is 60,300t, the full-load displacement is 79,724t, the flight deck is 318.8m, 76.8m wide. She’s speed is 32kts, the cruising radius is 12,000nm/20kts. The members of the crew are 5,480. She included 20 F-14,20 F/A-18, 4 EA-6B, 14A-6E/KA-6D, 4 E-2C, 10 S-3A/B and 8SH-60F SEA EAGLE helicopters. The defend weapons is 3 octuple SEA SPARROW SAM launchers and 3 MK 15 20mm Phalanx CIWS.
