There are flags of five different colors (Blue, White, Red, Green and Yellow) in each roll. Tibetan mantra OM MA NI PADME HUM is printed both in English as well as in Tibetan script on these prayer flags as seen in this picture. These prayer flags are believed to bring good luck and blessings in the surrounding where it is hung (it is hanged anywhere—either indoor or outdoor—flags of each roll are joined together by nylon thread for tying it). Flags (in five pure lights/colors) are arranged in specific order. These five colors of prayer flags symbolizes five fundamental elements of the universe which are as follows:

Blue symbolizes sky/space which symbolizes Peace.

White symbolizes air/wind which symbolizes Success.

Red symbolizes fire which symbolizes Long Life.

Green symbolizes water which symbolizes Prosperity.

Yellow symbolizes earth which symbolizes Knowledge.
