4 Alvin Gorham BRIDAL ROSE Sterling TEASPOONS 3.18 ozt

This auction is for a set of 4 old sterling silver Alvin BRIDAL ROSE pattern TEASPOONS monogrammed E. My reference book dates this pattern from 1903 and these are marked on the back of the handles "Sterling Patent" with the Alvin hallmark. They measure 5.87" long and weigh a total of 3.18 ozt. or 99.2 grams. These spoons are monogrammed with an old English E and are in VERY GOOD used condition showing normal usage. There are no noticeable dents, or disfiguring scratches, and no edge wear.....one of the spoons looks like the bowl had some dents taken out of it and has been reshaped and if you look very close at it there is one tiny dent in the center of the bowl, but you have to look carefully to see this. Otherwise there is just light scratching with a few nicks and heavier scratches in the bowl. All have straight handles, no bending and these spoons display beautifully and are very usable.

I have polished the set carefully with Wenol metal polish and a soft cloth to be sure of the condition and they polished up beautifully. PLEASE NOTE: Any brown lines or dark spots you see in my photographs are just a reflection of the beams in my living room or my ceiling fixtures. Silver is very reflective and hard to photograph in a home setting. These pieces are nicer than my photos can show. The set is ready to grace your table over the holidays. Add a touch of class to your dinning experience. Great pieces to add to any collection and to use.
