Introduction
The VT-10SDK enables you to quickly evaluate our active RFID solution, and to develop your own custom RFID application. The SDK (Software Development Kit) comes with a VT-10R Active Reader with USB 2.0 interface. The reader receives information from the active tag such as the tag unique ID (UID), User Defined ID, battery voltage level, temperature sensor reading & motion sensor status. This information is then decoded by the reader and send to the host PC. The reader can read or write configuration and user data to the tag. The SDK also comes with 5 pieces of VT-10T basic tag (with different unique ID), enables you to tag several assets and demonstrates multiple tag read/write capabilities. The SDK package comes with a Windows Demo Application in the CD, which enables user to perform leading of tags and set or write tag settings. The CD also contains .Net Demo Application source files, libraries (API) & API description for custom application development. Configurable beacon rate (Off, 1 to 16 seconds) Configurable transmit output power (-18dBm to 0dBm). Tag communication channel configurable to 62 channels from channel 0 (2.4GHz) to channel 61 (2.522GHz) with 2MHz spacing @ 2MBps air data rate. Alarm switch status (Idle/Guard/Alert) configurable Last successful transmission rate value (0-5 retransmission). Battery voltage level measurement (8mV accuracy from 2.1V to 3.6V). 200 bytes of User Read/Write Memory (25 blocks of 8-bytes/block).
