A nice looking WORLDS CHAMPIONSHIP BOXING POSTER FOR THE GEORGE FOREMAN vs JOSE ROMAN BOUT FOR CLOSED CIRCUT VIEWING AT THE SPECTRUM in Philadelphia, PA on August 31, 1973. The poster measures aprox. 28" x 22" and is in fair-very good condition showing water damage on the top and right side of the poster. There is also general wear on the rest of the poster but it still display well as the picture shows. The printing is a dark blue and green on white poster cardboard. I've shown both sides below. This championship bout was held on 9/1/73 in Japan thus it was August 31st here in the United States. The two welterweight bouts that were held in the Spectrum before the Foreman/Roman bout were Alfonso Haymand(from South Philly) vs Papo Villa(Puerto Rico) and William Watson(North Philly) vs Bobby Hamond(Cleveland). The poster will be carefully shipped flat to the winning bidder in stiff cardboard. Email with questions. Buyer agrees to pay $10.00 shipping/handling(within the continental US) including insurance.
